From the list of services, you must select the server you want to change the password

In the selected vps server service, you need to go to VMMANAGER

In order to connect to a remote server via SSH, please perform the following steps:

If you are Linux/MacOS user:

Open the terminal application

Type the following command:

ssh username@ipaddress

In case you are trying to connect to the server at the first time, you will get the following output:

The authenticity of host servername (server_IP) can’t be established. RSA key fingerprint is a9:bb:55:35:86:xx:xx:00:xx:00:2b:2c:79:10:96:3c. Are you sure you want to continue connecting

In order to proceed with connection, type  the word ‘yes’, then insert your password. Done! Now you are connected to your remote server via SSH.

If you are Windows user:

Download SSH client, as an example, PuTTY

Start putty.exe and enter the following connection details in the Sessions category:

• Host Name (or IP address) – here you should enter the host/IP to which you wish to connect;
• Port – the port for the connection – by default, SSH is running on 22 TCP port;
• Protocol – here you should select SSH.

Once you enter the correct connection data, click on Open button. There will open another window asking for your login and password. Enter your login credentials and press enter.

To go to your personal VNC you need:

You must click on the selected and installed your operating system

Then You need Forward to VMMANAGER

After, you need to click on the selected virtual server and go to VNC

Creating an SSH key on Linux

First, open the terminal (command line) app, then run the following command to generate a 4096 bit SSH key:

1. Login into your virtual machine via VNC or PuTTY or via SSH.
2. Insert into the command line the following command:
   ssh-keygen -b 4096
   The command will output the following result and prompt you to save the newly created key.
3. In order to view the generated SSH-key, input the following command:
   cat .ssh/id_rsa.pub

PuTTY is a popular SSH client for Windows. You can use it to remotely connect to a Linux server. Its companion software, PuTTYgen, can be used to create SSH keys.
First, download the PuTTYgen software, which we will use to generate the key.
Next, run the software and select RSA as the key type, enter 4096 as the number of bits to generate, and then click the GENERATE button.

Click the Save private key button and select a secure location to keep it. You can name your key whatever you’d like, and the extension .ppk will be automatically added.

Insert your SSH key into VM-manager panel.

At first, please login into your HOSTRY member area. Then access your VM-manager account:

Then go the SSH Keys section. Click on the SSH keys Add icon

Insert your public key into the text box and give it a name, then click on a Save button:

Done. The public key is added!

If You Have a VPS

Go to the list of your orders and select the VPS on which you need to install WordPress

Then, as you chose your VPS, you must go to the CMS

In the CMS section, you must select WORDPRESS and enter your domain name. After that, you can enter «СREATE»

If You Didn’t Have any VPS

If you have no active vps in orders, you can order them here: https://hostry.com/products/vps/

You need to choose a tariff plan (example: NL 30GB SSD 5$)that is convenient for you, designate a Payment period, write your Hostname, choose an Operating System (OS), then click on the «CMS»

 In the CMS section, you must select WORDPRESS and enter your domain name there and «СREATE»

To connect to the server, use login credentials from your personal account. On your server order page, you’ll find the link to the server and authorization data.

Open your personal account and input authorization credentials

If you click on the link to panel, you’ll be directed to the panel as shown below:

Input login and password and proceed to Configuration page in McMyAdmin panel. Game server is turned off by default.

To start the game, open menu by clicking on Status button and press StartServer. Server starting can take about a minute.
After a successful start, you’ll see the following:

Then, you can open Minecraft

Press Multiplayer then Direct Connect (или Add Server) input your server’s IP (for example,185.186.244.192) and get connected

If you see the error “Failed to login: Invalid session (Try restarting your game and the launcher)”

Authorize in the server via SSH connection (here you can see how to use Putty (here you can see how to use Putty here).
After successful authorization, open the file using the following commands:

# su mcmyadmin
# cd ~/McMyAdmin/
# vim Minecraft/server.properties

Press INSERT button and proceed to the line with online-mode where you need to select false variables as shown in the picture

To quit the panel, press ESC and type :wq
Restart the server by clicking Restart Server. on the panel

To connect to the server, use login credentials from your personal account and select SSH connection. PUTTY is a perfect client program for establishing SSH connection (it can be uploaded here: https://www.putty.org/). To Install this, you need the following actions:

Open your personal account and find the necessary VPS service

Open Putty and select IP

Type in your root login and password. Please, note that when you type your password, letters and symbols aren’t displayed: it’s standard SSH protection, just continue typing and press ENTER. Otherwise, you can copy and paste the password, make CLICK RIGHT on console display and press ENTER

Input the following commands after successful authorization:

# su mcserver
# cd ~
# ./mcserver

To restart the server, use the following command:

 # ./mcserver restart

Then you can open Minecraft

Press Multiplayer, then DirectConnect (or AddServer) and input your server’s IP (for example, 185.186.244.152) and get connected

If you see the error “Failed to login: Invalid session (Try restarting your game and the launcher)”

Open the file using the following command:

# vim serverfiles/server.properties

Press INSERT button and proceed to the line with online-mode where you need to select false variables as shown in the picture

To quit the panel, press ESC and type :wq

Restart the server using the following command:

Please access “virtual machines” link from the right side menu bar. Find the virtual machine you need to reinstall and click on the REINSTALL button above.

After clicking the REINSTALL button, you are forwarded to the OS reinstall menu. Here you choose the operating system, the software you want to be preinstalled and also you can set a new password. After the configuration is chosen, please click OK button and the reinstall procedure begins

The reinstall procedure will take approximately 15-20 minutes. You can make a cup of coffee and check your Instagram feed.
