CentOS is a Linux distribution, and CentOS Web Panel, or CWP as it is otherwise called, is an open source web hosting control panel developed for CentOS, RHEL and CloudLinux. In order for the installation to go well and without interference, this will require:

Fresh CentOS vps instance recommended from 2 GB RAM;

It is necessary that the domain (xxxxx.com) be configured to point to the server;

Login as super user;

The fully qualified domain name of the server must be different from its host name. For example, the host name and fully qualified domain name are cwp and cwp.xxxxx.com, respectively.

Install CWP

Download and run the script to install CWP

cd /usr/local/src
wget http://centos-webpanel.com/cwp-el7-latest
sh cwp-el7-latest

The installation process always takes some time, so it’s worth the wait, since the script will automatically install and run all the dependencies, which also include: Apache, PHP, MariaDB and others.

Further, after a successful installation, you can observe the following output:

#############################

Access CWP from your browser

After restarting your system, you need to specify your web browser directly. Or log in, because CWP will automatically configure firewall rules in order to allow access on ports 2030 and 2031. For security reasons, we recommend that you use this URL:

Ntopng is a special computer program for monitoring traffic on a computer network. It is designed as a high-performance and low-resource replacement for ntop. This tool perfectly provides an intuitive encrypted web user interface for exploring real-time traffic information and traffic history.

Installing Ntopng

A very important point should be followed before installation – adding the official Ntopng repository. To do this, you need to start adding the main dependencies, without which the work of Ntopng will be impossible. Enter the command shown below:

apt install wget gnupg software-properties-common

Then you need to install the Ntopng repository package. Follow the commands shown below:

wget https://packages.ntop.org/apt/20.04/all/apt-ntop.deb
dpkg -i apt-ntop.deb

Next, update the packages:

apt update

This is followed by the completion of adding the official Ntopng repository. You can install it as follows:

apt install pfring-dkms nprobe ntopng n2disk cento

Further Configuring Ntopng on Your VPS

Before proceeding to configuring Ntopng, you need to find your VPS network interfaces. Enter a simple command:

ntopng -h

Ntopng will provide you with network interfaces with the output of the -h command. After that, you need to open the configuration file

nano /etc/ntopng/ntopng.conf

This is followed by a very important step: you need to add the following lines to the very end of the file Line -i = 2 (denotes the initiation for using Ntopng of the second interface enp1s0). Then you should go to the second interface. Leave the web server port 3333 unless you need a different port (the default will be 3333).

Network adapter name
-i=2
HTTP port of the embedded web server.
-w=3333

Next, you should restart your ntopng service

systemctl start ntopng

After that step- is to install it every time you start it in the server boot

systemctl enable ntopng

After successful actions, you should be able to test your ntopng. This can be done as follows (replace 185.186.244.123) with your address and port:

http://185.186.244.123:333

Vesta Control Panel is a great solution for your VPS server. Many users of virtual and dedicated servers perform various types of administrative tasks using control panels, such as: ISPManager (the most popular among them), DirectAdmin, CPanel and others. All of them are paid software, but there is an alternative, which is the Vesta Control Panel. This panel has all the features for quick and convenient operation on servers, without having to manually configure configuration files. This panel fully supports:

Apache + nginx as a web server;

DNS server;

Mail server, including setting up DKIM, spam filters and anti-virus;

Stable version of PHP;

MySQL 5.5 Database Management System;

As well as monitoring server load.

The process of installing the panel is very simple and even a novice can do it.

The process of installing

The installation process is very simple: after you purchased the server and received the parameters (IP address and root password), you can install this palette on CentOS, Ubuntu and also Debian using:

curl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install.sh

bash vst-install.sh

Further, this control panel itself will install all the necessary server applications. It will take some time, so you should wait. After installation, the panel will display a ready-made singal:

Congratulations, you have just successfully installed the Vesta Control Panel

You can login in Vesta with following credentials:
username: admin
password: XXXXXXXX
https://1.2.3.4:8083

It will be necessary to go to the specified URL and the interface of this panel will open to us further:
